This oversized paper peony is now available in my etsy shop. This 11 inch blossom would make an awesome cake topper.

Wouldn’t this also be cool as a pool float? Or lit up with a votive?

Here is a sweet little bouquet with Echeveria ‘Perle von Nurnberg’, Echeveria ‘Violet Queen’, Pachyveria, dusty miller and some of foliage that I urban harvested while shopping at Lowes with my Dad. (I hope I didn’t embarrass him too much!) The Perle von Nurnbergs are nice, but the color on the Pachyveria is crazy gorgeous. The Pachyveria was labeled as ‘Blue Pearl’, but I think it might be a ‘Little Jewel’. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Happy Halloween!

Yup, that’s me as a giant paper flower. The flower was built on a cardboard collar, and was four feet across. Eating, drinking, peripheral vision, and socializing ranged from difficult to impossible in this costume – which added to the hilarity. At least no one else showed up wearing the same thing.

Today was a great day! Jodi and Karl were married, and they used cacti and echeveria for their centerpieces! Here is the army of succulents ready to go:

The vases were used in trios on the tables.
