Allison & Chris at Pine Knob Mansion

Autumn is a busy season at Floral Verde LLC, and there are several real weddings that I need to post about. We'll start with a very special couple, Allison and Chris. Allison found Floral Verde LLC online in late January. After working up a quote for her, she booked me for her wedding. We hit it off during our initial phone conversation, and I mentioned that I was looking to hire help for the upcoming wedding season.

Fast forward to May 28th - Allison is working on her first wedding with me! It was the start of wonderful personal and professional friendship, and we have since worked side by side on several weddings. So here is to my good friend and floral partner in crime - Allison!

My favorite part of the day is how Allison couldn't stop smiling. Congratulations Allison and Chris!

Melissa & Brian - the cake

cake adorned with antique blue-pink hydrangea This cake maximizes it's height by adding layers of flowers and a beautiful silver base (provided by the baker). Antique blue/pink hydrangea alternate with votives to create a base layer. Hydrangea are used again to support the top layer.

Melissa & Brian - the centerpieces

centerpiece with Florigene Moonvista carnations, antique blue-pink hydrangea, Twinkle Bride spray roses, green apples, Polaris cushion pomps and a variegated pittosporum in a silver Revere bowl This abundant centerpiece plays up the silver, plum and apple green color scheme. For anyone familiar with a little color theory - a touch of hot pink completes the triad of split complimentary hues, making this centerpiece pop. It contains Florigene Moonvista carnations, antique blue/pink hydrangea, Twinkle Bride spray roses, green apples, Polaris cushion pomps and variegated pittosporum in a silver Revere bowl.
