Ali & John in Ohio & Michigan

Here is a wedding I did in May of 2008 - I can't believe that I haven't posted about it yet! Ali and John are the sweetest couple. John proposed in Hawaii, and the wedding followed suit with a tropical color scheme. There was a particular emphasis on pink and orange, Ali's favorite colors. The wedding was held at the Olivet Lutheran Church in Sylvania, Ohio.

Ali carried a bold bouquet of pink peonies, Kiko roses, Twinkle Bride spray roses, Macarena spray roses, green mini cymbidium orchids and orange vanda orchids down the aisle.

In this next ceremony shot I love how you can tell that Ali and John are smiling, even from behind.

Here, Ali takes a moment with the flower girl while she waits for her bridesmaids. I love the mini tiara that the flower girl is sporting. I'm sure it made her feel like a princess!

Michelle & Jeff in Milford, Michigan

The last weekend of February I had the honor of providing flowers for Michelle and Jeff's wedding. The ceremony was held at South Hill Church in Milford. Michelle's father led the ceremony, which made it incredibly personal and beautiful.

After the ceremony a lunch reception was held just two miles away at Bakers of Milford Banquet Hall. The food was excellent (thanks for the invite Bobbi!)

Green Fashion roses were paired with bupleurum to create a just-gathered feel in the centerpieces. Each votive was carefully wrapped with a sheer ribbon sleeve to finish the look.

I'd like to thank Michelle, Jeff, and both of their families for their incredible hospitality. I had a blast getting to know you all!

Congratulations Michelle and Jeff!!!

Lisa & Joe in New Bremen, Ohio

Joe is a good friend and collegue of mine. I met him at the University of Cincinnati while I was finishing up my BS in Architecture in the spring of 2007. During my time at UC I was also lucky to meet his fiancée, Lisa. Despite her busy schedule, she was often in studio delivering food and being supportive during long nights of model building. A designer at heart, Joe naturally became the guiding force in color selection and overall event design, and he did a marvelous job! He chose a bold color scheme of green and orange. How fun!

Here I am pinning on Joe's boutonniere

Here is his beautiful bride, Lisa. Her bridal bouquet contained green hydrangea, Super Green roses, Macarena and Lemoncello spray roses, berzillia baubles and myrtle.

The bridesmaids bouquets were pale green, yellow and white - a combination that really popped when set against their rust colored dresses. Their bouquets contained hydrangea, Super Green roses, Lemoncello spray roses, Polaris cushion pomps and myrtle.
