Today was a great day! Jodi and Karl were married, and they used cacti and echeveria for their centerpieces! Here is the army of succulents ready to go:
The vases were used in trios on the tables.

Echeveria, Leucadendron and Thimble Cactus
Along with the two kinds of green leucadendron, Mayesh had some gorgeous Echeveria coccinea last week. I snagged a few stems and paired them with Echeveria 'frosty' and Echeveria 'Violet Queen.' My favorite parts though, are the cute Mammillaria gracilis fragilis, or thimble cactus - do you see them? They're tiny little cactus balls with reflexed spines. I will definitely be sneaking these into more bouquets!
Succulents, Garden Roses and Bougainvillea
Mayesh had some fabulous product in this week. Seriously, two kinds of green leucadendron? And the Juliette Drouet garden roses? I'm in heaven. But I couldn't help myself, I still had to add some bougainvillea and Echeveria 'frosty' from my personal collection.
Speaking of my collection - it might get a little bigger this weekend. Is anyone else going to Bi-Annual Plant Sale at the Desert Botanical Garden? I'm totally pumped!
