Milk Glass and Succulents

I've got a few projects up my sleeves... First, I'm putting together a collection of vintage milk glass urns and compotes. I think they'll make great rental items. Here are a couple of my new acquisitions done up with succulents. That Echeveria 'Truffles' (front and center in the last photo) is out of with world, don't you think?

Which leads me to my second project, I'm thinking about putting together some rental succulent centerpieces. Do I have any interested brides? Would you rent living centerpieces for your special evening?

Today I received an email with photos from Alisha and Colin's wedding! The ceremony was held up on South Mountain, overlooking the city of Phoenix. What an incredible location!

Alisha and Colin's Wedding at South Mountain Park, Phoenix, Arizona

I have been looking forward to Alisha's wedding ever since our consultation in January. She wanted something unusual and right up my alley - a succulent and manzanita branch bouquet.

This bouquet was an absolute knock-out, and I know Alisha totally rocked it. I ordered in the most gorgeous succulents from California, white gloriosa from Japan, and Uhule fern shoots and Sharry Baby Oncidium orchids from Hawaii, all on a backdrop of locally harvested manzanita. I really can't decide which flower is my favorite here. I've been dying to get my hands on the white gloriosa, but the Sharry Baby has the most amazing sweet chocolate aroma. What a lucky bride!

The bridesmaid bouquet was sweet and compact. It had pretty much everything Alisha's bouquet had, minus the flowers and branches.
