Ah, sarracenia trumpets – weird and wonderful.

This bouquet was full of ruffles – Hearts roses, Rubicon spray roses, glorisa lilies, nerine lilies and grape sweet peas.
Sarah and Chris were married on June 12th. It was a hot, but beautiful day for a wedding. The colors for the ceremony were ivory, green and espresso. The bridal bouquet contained white sweet peas, Patience garden roses, fern curls, curly willow, pieris buds, green hydrangea, green mini cymbidiums, scented geranium, seeded eucalyptus, Super Green roses, and green minou spray roses. Swarovski crystal accents completed the bouquet.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets contained white sweet peas, Patience garden roses, fern curls, green hydrangea, green mini cymbidiums, scented geranium, native grasses, seeded eucalyptus, Super Green roses, and green minou spray roses.
Sarah and her bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning.
At the reception we added blush pink to the ivory, green and esspresso color palette. The reception was held at Apple Mountain Golf Course in Freeland, MI. It was such a pleasure to set up at Apple Mountain. Abbe, the on-site event coordinator, and her staff were so incredibly sweet and helpful.
To keep the 40 guest tables interesting there were three different centerpieces. The first centerpiece was a wooden box overflowing with flowers, branches and pods.
The second centerpiece included a trio of floating candles nestled in a bed of roses, hydrangea, sweet peas and astilbe.
The third, and most dramatic centerpiece was a lush garden raised up on 32†black iron stands. A trio of votives hung down from spiraled green wire.
I also want to give a shout out to DJ Ryan Rousseau. He is an incredible DJ with great equipment, and he did an awesome job of keeping the guests partying at the reception right until the very end.
Sarah and Chris are such a sweet couple, and I’m sad that I won’t be seeing them as much now that their wedding is over! Congratulations you two!
