Variations on a (Valentine's Day) Theme

What do you get when you combine a dozen roses and a vintage sewing machine? Last month my Mother-in-law gave me a vintage sewing machine. Ever since then I've been obsessed with sewing silk covers for vases and candles. Naturally, this obsession carried on into Valentine's Day. Check out some of the dozen rose arrangements that went out yesterday and today:

one dozen Black Baccara roses, Peach Vision spray roses, anemone, and seeded eucalyptus in a six inch cylinder vase wrapped with burgundy silk

This arrangement is one of my favorites. It includes Black Baccara roses, Peach Vision spray roses, anemone, and seeded eucalyptus. The six inch cylinder vase is wrapped in burgundy silk.

one dozen Faith roses, Peach Vision spray roses, anemone, and seeded eucalyptus in a six inch cylinder vase wrapped with burgundy silk

Another burgundy wrap, but this time the vase is filled with Faith roses.

one dozen Esperance roses, parrot tulips, and seeded eucalyptus in a six inch cylinder vase wrapped with champagne silk

Esperance roses and parrot tulips finished with a champagne silk wrap.

one dozen Black Baccara roses, Peach Vision spray roses, anemone, wax flower, and seeded eucalyptus in a six inch cylinder vase wrapped with champagne silk

one dozen red Freedom roses, ranunculus, wax flower, and variegated lily grass in a six inch cylinder vase wrapped with red silk

Finally a dozen red Freedom roses with ranunculus, wax flower and variegated lily grass in a red silk wrap.

Happy Valentine's Day!
