Mary Anne and Michael at the Detroit Golf Club

In mid-May I received a phone call from Mary Anne. We had a great phone conversation about her upcoming reception at the Detroit Golf Club, and two weeks later I met her and her two best friends, Jeannie and Vicki, for an on-site consultation.

Mary Anne and her friends had already done the hard work, organizing the details and selecting beautiful linens, all I had to do was bring the flowers! The white and green centerpieces, inspired by photos from the bride, had an abundant garden look. They contained hydrangea, roses, mini callas, scabiosa, waxflower, bupleurum, and scented geranium with an aspidistra leaf wrap tucked into the vase.

A third large arrangement graced the sixteen foot dessert buffet (I wish that I could have stayed for that!) All of the glass vases and votives were wrapped in silk to complete the look.

Mary Anne, Jeannie and Vicki really know how to throw a party, and were a blast to work with! Thank you ladies! And congratulations to the newly-wed couple, Mary Anne and Michael!
