Laurie and Jon's wedding in May might be my favorite wedding of the year. Laurie and Jon are an incredibly sweet couple, and they used a vintage purple color palette that was after my own heart. The couple was married at the First Presbyterian Church of Flint. The gorgeous photos were taken by Bravo Studios Photography.
Don't Laurie and Jon make a beautiful couple?
Laurie’s bouquet was made up of white sweet peas, amnesia roses, Schwartzwalder mini callas, Burana Sindy dendrobium orchids, fern curls, Sharry Baby oncidium orchids, scented geranium, green leucadendron, bunny grass, baby blue eucalyptus and dusty miller.
I absolutely love Laurie’s dress. The ruffles are so ethereal.
The bridesmaids wore Watters and Watters dresses in “foliage.†I tried to pick up on the color with lots of foliages in blues and silvers.
I snagged the next few photos of centerpieces during setup. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn Gateway in Flint, the linens were provided by Lorrie at Special Occasions, and the draping and lighting was done by Dennis at The Whole 9 Yards.
The final image is from Bravo Studios Photography. The beautiful cake from The French Confection was adorned with a single duchess rose. I created the rose from the petals of a dozen Amnesia roses.
Congratulations Laurie and Jon!
