The Lonely Bouquet

Bouquet of Baronesse garden roses, Romantic Antike garden roses and White Majolica spray roses by Floral Verde LLC, Cincinnati, OH I first heard about Lonely Bouquet Day on Botanical Brouhaha. It was started by Emily at Fleuropean in Belgium. The basic idea is to share the joy of flowers with unsuspecting strangers. What a lovely concept! Although I was too busy to participate on the official day, June 30th, my daughter and I made a special trip to Deerfield Honors Veterans Park in Mason, OH to drop off a bouquet of beautiful garden roses on July 11th.

We left the flowers on a park bench. I hope they were adopted and enjoyed!
